Heels season 3: Is the Starz series getting a third season?
In Heels season 2 episode 7, we saw our favorite wrestlers get themselves ready for the important event they’ve been waiting for – Duffy Wrestling League vs. Florida Wrestling Dystopia. And we get to see that in episode 8, which is now streaming on the Starz app and airs at 10 p.m. ET on the channel. With this being the season 2 finale, is Heels season 3 happening?
Last week’s Sept. 8, 2023 episode, “The Things That Matter,” portrayed just how important the showdown in the ring is going to be. We see Ace getting ready, Gully wanting Jack’s script which turns into an argument between the two, and the brothers create a wonderful promo featuring the wrestlers and behind the scenes team. They create the project in the hopes of getting Jen Lussier, the head of streaming service Continuum, to see what the people at DWL are all about.
We end the episode with Jack and Staci, revealing that there are items in the boxes that aren’t good and could ruin what they’ve built. We can’t wait to see what happens in the finale tonight. But, we’re also already thinking ahead. So is there going to be more story to tell? We’ve got the answer for you below!
Heels season 3: Is the Starz series getting a third season?
At the time of this writing on Sept. 15, 2023, Starz has not renewed or canceled Heels. That means we’re not sure if a third season is happening just yet. Since the season finale hasn’t aired yet, the network probably wants to wait and see how it does. There’s a number of factors that go into making these decisions.
The viewership numbers have been on a decline since the season started, but the show is still a popular one among fans. Though with the writers strike and actors strike delaying many productions, now that is another factor the company has to think about. Hopefully they don’t leave us questioning whether a third season is happening for too long.
