Mark your calendars for Friday, Sept. 29, 2023 if you’re looking for a new film to watch in theaters. And that’s PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie! With it being an animation, you might be thinking it’s appropriate for all kids. Is that the case?

The superhero comedy is centered around Skye, voiced by Mckenna Grace. Joining the actress as part of the cast are Taraji P. Henson as Victoria “Vee” Vance, Kim Kardashian as Delores, North West as Mini, Marsai Martin as Liberty, Christian Convery as Chase, James Marsden as Hank, Kristen Bell as Janet.

The film is based on the television series of the same name, and is a direct sequel to PAW Patrol: The Movie. So is it ok for any age to see it? Or are there some mature themes even though it’s an animated production? We’ve got the answer for you below!

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie age rating: Is the movie appropriate for all ages?

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie is rated PG for mild action/peril, according to the Motion Picture Association. This means parental guidance is suggested. So while most of the content of the movie is suitable for all ages, you’ll want to make sure an adult is present with the kids.

But seeing as the film is coming out in theaters only upon release, that’s already going to be the case. Since it’s a Paramount Pictures production, the animation will most likely stream on Paramount+ at some point. This time around, the story has the PAW Patrol pups getting their very own superpowers when a magical meteor crashes in Adventure City, per the synopsis. But when Humdinger and a mad scientist team up, the pups have to stop the villains from wrecking havoc.

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie begins playing Friday, Sept. 29, 2023 in theaters.
