Jo Wilson had a chance to find love again in Grey’s Anatomy Season 19. Will we see what comes next in Grey’s Anatomy Season 20?

After realizing she had feelings for Link but he didn’t return them, she pulled away. Of course, then Link started having feelings for her. It was clear Link was jealous of the connection Jo was forming with a patient. All the while, Jo continues to focus on her career and life as a mom.

The end of Season 19 brought us a huge shock. Teddy collapsed in the OR just as the patient Jo was forming a connection with crashed on the table. Things aren’t looking good for anyone, and we’re sure to see the aftermath in Grey’s Anatomy Season 20.

Will Jo Wilson return in Grey’s Anatomy Season 20?

The big concern is whether Camilla Luddington will return for Grey’s Anatomy Season 20.  This is where we have good news. Ahead of the Season 19 finale, Deadline reported that some long-time cast members would return. That includes Luddington, who came into the series in the ninth season and has some hellish storylines that include her starting a relationship with Karev and dealing with her abusive ex-husband.

The continuity is definitely important. The series has seen some major cast exits over the years, including that of Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey. While Pompeo is still somewhat involved in the show, she’s not returning full-time by the looks of things.

We’ll need to wait and see how things play out. The WGA strike is potentially coming to an end, but the SAG-AFTRA strike is still ongoing. We could see filming start up in January if a deal is reached soon, especially as the writers will be able to get to work.

dark. Next. Will Caterina Scorsone return in Grey's Anatomy Season 20?

Grey’s Anatomy is available to stream on Netflix and Hulu.
