Is it ever too late to find love? Gerry Turner hopes the answer is no, and we’re all rooting for him! Gerry is our first Golden Bachelor in the Bachelor Nation’s first season of The Golden Bachelor, which premieres tonight (Sept. 28) on ABC! Don’t want to miss it? We didn’t think so! Here’s everything you need to know.
Love is in the air tonight, and 71-year-old Gerry Turner from Indiana is in the center of it all. The latest Bachelor spin-off is taking on the golden years. We agree with Gerry, it’s never too late to find love or to fall in love again after a loss. After all, if there’s something everyone deserves, it’s love.
Gerry, a retired restaurateur is a loving father and grandfather who lives on his dream house by a lake, but has no one to share this with after losing his high school sweetheart, Toni, in 2017. Toni and Gerry were together for 43 years. It hasn’t been easy, but Gerry is now ready to find love and the world is cheering him on.
