Gerry Turner believes in second chances at love, and after the series premiere on Sept. 28, he’s not only sure of it, but he is hopeful and excited to go on this journey. And tonight, The Golden Bachelor will see Gerry one step closer to true love.

Six women were sent home after week one, but there are still so many left! Sadly, hearts will be broken each week. As time passes it’s going to hurt more. So as excited as we are about learning who will get the final rose, we know we are in for some depressing moments. But we are all in for this rollercoaster of a ride!

If you haven’t been keeping up with the latest from Bachelor Nation, The Golden Bachelor follows Gerry Turner, a 71-year-old man from Indiana. Gerry is a retired restaurateur who lost his wife in 2017 not long after purchasing their dream home. Toni and Gerry were together for 43 years. The road to becoming The Golden Bachelor has not been easy, but his daughters have pushed Gerry to get back out there and now the world is cheering for him.
