It can be hard to choose your all-time favorite character from Friends, but many people would definitely pick Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) if they had to. The iconic character is one of the funniest and most entertaining on the show, and some of his quotes will never get old. If you love Chandler and want to test your knowledge of him and the actor who portrayed him, take our quiz below!

Can you guess who said it, Chandler or Matthew Perry?

Chandler is best known in the show for his self-deprecating humor and witty personality. He’s part of the close-knit friend group of the show, also consisting of Ross, Joey, Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe. Chandler works in statistics and data analysis. The most memorable parts of the character include his sarcastic remarks and one-liners, his fear of commitment, and his romance with Monica. Despite things he has to work through from his past, Chandler is able to create a solidly happy life for himself through his career, friends, and serious relationship.

The entertainment industry suffered a major loss this October when actor Matthew Perry passed away at the age of 54. He was reportedly found unresponsive at his home and it was originally believed he had died from drowning. His passing was a major shock for fans of the show and his former co-stars. Perry was without a doubt the best part of Friends, and he had a long list of other memorable roles throughout his career. He was an inspiration to many with his openness to talk about his struggles with addiction, which he chronicled in his 2022 memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.

May Perry rest in peace and his legacy live on through the 10 beloved seasons of Friends.
