Nothing says summer quite like a new season of Big Brother. 

Every summer, CBS invites viewers into the Big Brother house to watch the lives of the season’s new houseguests as they try to navigate through the crazy game that is Big Brother. Alliances form, showmances begin and each week brings a new fight for power as the houseguests attempt to make it to the end and take home the season’s grand prize.

Each year, we’re reminded to expect the unexpected as the show throws new twists their way. However, we as an audience have also come to expect the unexpected as well.

As a viewer, you never know what a new week might bring as loyalties shift and new players come into power which is all part of the fun of the game. What’s not so fun is trying to figure out when new episodes of the series will air due to the show’s more unique schedule which sees it airing multiple nights a week, and often on different days as the season progresses.

Luckily, we’re here to help take some of the guessing out of the process!

Is Big Brother new tonight on CBS? (July 21, 2022)

While new episodes of Big Brother are typically intended to air on Thursday nights, there will be no new episode of season 24 airing this Thursday night due to CBS’s coverage of the Capitol Assault Hearings.

Instead of getting to find out who will be the first houseguest evicted from the house this season and learning about the season’s new twist tonight, we’ll instead have to wait until Sunday night when CBS will be airing a special 2-hour programming block.
