6. Cora Hale (Adelaide Kane)

Final Appearance: Season 3, Episode 12 “Lunar Ellipse”

Last Known Whereabouts: As the alpha pack began closing in on the Hale family, Peter urged Derek and Cora to get as far away from Beacon Hills as possible – a warning they would finally take after a series of encounters with the alpha pack. Derek and Cora were last seen leaving his loft with bags packed and in hand. While Derek would later return to town, Cora was never seen again is said to have found her way back to South America.

Why it’s Time for Cora to Return to Beacon Hills: Where to we even begin? Before we could even begin to get to dive into Cora’s rich backstory, her portrayer, Adelaide Kane, booked a role on The CW’s Reign which forced the creative team to write the character off. Recent seasons of Teen Wolf have been seriously lacking representatives of the Hale family and, as unlikely as it may seem, we can’t help ourselves from hoping to see Cora return one day – even if for only an episode or two.

There is truly so much that the writers were never able to explore due to Kane’s exit and it would nice to finally learn more about Derek’s little sister and to see Malia interact with her long-lost cousin. When the series began, the Hale family was such a prominent force in the supernatural world of Beacon Hills and its about time that the Hale family make their presence known once again.
