Video: The Cast And Crew Discuss Jimmy McGill Becoming Saul Goodman

With two seasons of Better Call Saul completed, fans are still wondering when we’ll meet the show’s titular character. Last season, Jimmy McGill took a few steps towards becoming “criminal lawyer,” Saul Goodman. Now, AMC has released a video where the cast and crew talk about the next phase in Jimmy’s transformation. The link to the video is in the tweet below.

Show creator Vince Gilligan said it himself, “every year we wonder…how close is Jimmy McGill to becoming Saul Goodman?” Gilligan also mentioned that some episodes will see him take steps, while others will see him take leaps. Nothing is confirmed here; so the question still remains. Will any of those leaps actually land Jimmy McGill in the identity of Saul Goodman?

What’s Mike up to?

Additionally, the video includes some talk about how season two ended for Mike and what it means for season three. Gilligan notes that this is the most “freaked out” that fans have ever seen Mike. Having watched Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul multiple times through, I’m inclined to agree. Executive Producer Peter Gould goes on to talk about the relationship between Mike and Jimmy. While the two’s relationship is built more upon necessity than friendship, Gould adds that “somehow, together, they  make beautiful music.
