What has Sparrow been up to? More of the same shenanigans! But watching him never gets old. Pirates wouldn’t be Pirates without him. He’s still the same Jack Sparrow — drunk, clever, and dreaming of being the captain of the Black Pearl again.
The two new leads, Henry and Carina, are pretty dull. They don’t only lack chemistry, but they’re pretty boring in general. It’s all up to Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow to make Dead Men Tell No Tales entertaining (and Geoffrey Rush, helps, too!), and he does a great job at it.
