The Orville is getting funnier and funnier. If the Stars Should Appear is the funniest episode yet, with tons of laughs from beginning to end.

The Orville is already probably one of the funniest shows on television. The witty writing allows room for quick-hitting one-liners, fully developed jokes, and awkward situational humor. All that, and it’s also a well-written science fiction drama.

If the Stars Should Appear puts Captain Ed Mercer (MacFarlane) and away crew on a massive ship adrift in space with a crash-course trajectory towards a star, and the rest of The Orville on a rescue mission against a Krill destroyer.

Moreover, there is a surprise A-list cameo by none other than Liam Neeson, who plays Cpt. Jahavus Dorahl, the leader of a world who created a bio-vessel intended to visit another planet over the span of three generations. More big stars will appear in future episodes.

Here are the four funniest moments of If the Stars Should Appear.
