Chrissy Metz talks about how Kate’s new baby could start a legacy

At the end of last week’s episode, it was revealed that Kate Pearson is pregnant with her first child and now Chrissy Metz is talking about how her child could start a legacy. 

Things are really going to be changing on This Is Us as Kate Pearson is about to become a mom. Of course, the second that she revealed she was pregnant fans thought it would be great if she had a little boy and named him Jack after her dad. It turns out that Chrissy Metz totally agrees and can see this happening as well.

People shared that Chrissy Metz is sure that if she has a son it will be named Jack after Kate’s late father. She revealed that she found out the news over the hiatus, so she already knew about the pregnancy for a while. Chrissy had to be in charge of the hard job of keeping it a secret.

Chrissy talked about how she does agree with the very popular fan theory of naming the boy Jack.

"“I’m sure she would name the baby Jack if he was a boy. That’s what’s so special about naming a child after a loved one. The legacy and beautiful memories that will be created are that much more meaningful.”"

Honestly, I could see the show deciding to make the baby a boy just to have this touching moment where they reveal his name. As of right now, Kate hasn’t even told anyone that she is pregnant including her fiance Toby. That is a moment on the show I can’t wait to see!
