Justin Hartley talks about how he started acting on Live With Kelly and Ryan

This morning Justin Hartley made an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan where he spoke out about how he got his start in acting.

Fans know Justin Hartley as Kevin on This Is Us, but he has also been on various other shows such as The Young and the Restless and Mistresses. This morning while on Live With Kelly and Ryan they talked to Justin about how he got his start in acting.

Justin started out explaining that he has had several jobs in his time including waiting tables and cleaning up at a bakery where he wasn’t even allowed to eat any of the sweet treats. He also had a lawn mowing business with his brother. He teased that they made so much money they probably should have paid taxes on it. Then Justin went on to explain how he ended up becoming an actor.

Hartley revealed that he kind of stumbled into acting because of a class he took in college that was called Oral Interpretation of Children’s Literature. He went on to explain that he thought it was a “blow off” class, but it turns out that it was an acting class and he didn’t even know it. They would act out fairy tales. He realized that he loves acting and of course, the rest is history.

The fans are glad that Justin Hartley stumbled upon acting because he is amazing and his character Kevin Pearson is one that tugs at the heartstrings. Justin also talked about how the writing on This Is Us is so good. He did tease that we will get hints about how Jack dies this season, but nobody is admitting when the news will come out just yet.
