Check out Justin Hartley in this hilarious throwback Aquaman TV pilot

Obviously, This Is Us isn’t Justin Hartley’s first acting job, but a throwback pilot for his show Aquaman is one that you do not want to miss.

The CW has been known for some pretty great superhero shows, such as Smallville, but they tried out a pilot for the show Aquaman and things just didn’t work out on this one. By watching the pilot preview below, you will quickly figure out why this show didn’t happen, but Hartley fans like myself can’t help but laugh at this throwback preview. The Hollywood Reporter shared about this clip since Justice League comes out next week.

This pilot is over ten years old considering it came out in 2006. They only filmed this one episode before the show was passed on, but Justin Hartley landed the big role of Aquaman in it.  Lou Diamond Phillips, Denise Quinones and Ving Rhames are all also part of this pilot episode.

Justin’s characters story as Aquaman starts in the ocean where he was born, but he lives a normal life from day to day. His mother was taken from him at a young age and he had to figure it out all on his own. He is shocked by how he can breathe underwater and do things he never thought he would be able to do.
