Mandy Moore talks about dressing in vintage for This Is Us, how long her makeup takes

Mandy Moore of This Is Us is speaking out about dressing in vintage clothing for her part as Rebecca Pearson and also how long her makeup takes her to get done. 

On the hit show, This Is Us, Mandy Moore plays Rebecca Pearson but as you know this show shares past and present. Racked got the chance to talk to her while at Everleigh in West Hollywood about the various outfits she wears and doing makeup on the show.

Mandy Moore shared that the 70s flashbacks are her favorite to dress up in and she loved wearing the Cher wig for Halloween but wasn’t a fan of the eyelashes. She gets to wear a lot of various outfits on the show.

When it comes to doing her makeup to look older, this actually takes her about three to four hours and then it takes another hour to take it off at the end of the day. This makes for a lot longer day for Mandy Moore. She shared this part is hard for her because everyone else is already done for the day. Mandy went on to explain her thoughts.

"“I’ve done it so many times at this point, but the first few times I think I studied myself in the mirror to see if I looked like my grandmother or my mother, and I don’t think I look like either one of them, so I don’t feel like it’s an indication of what I’m going to look like when I get older. But I wouldn’t be mad at that, because girlfriend has some kind of skincare regimen that’s from another planet. Like, for 67, she looks real good. I don’t know what she’s doing, but I like it. I’m into it.”"

Whatever makeup they are doing, Mandy Moore looks amazing at any age on the show This Is Us and fans can’t get enough of her.
