Chrissy Metz talks about crying with strangers over This Is Us

Chrissy Metz is part of the emotional show This Is Us and it turns out she cries just like the rest of us over this show.

On This Is Us, Chrissy Metz’s character Kate Pearson has already been through a lot. In the latest episodes, she went through a life-changing miscarriage. Us Weekly spoke to Chrissy and she shared that she has actually cried with strangers more than once over the storylines on the show.

This show is something that a lot of people can relate to seeing that it touches so many real-life situations. Chrissy shared how she has had very touching moments with complete strangers because of this show.

"“It’s very often, if not probably on a daily basis that I cry with strangers, whether it’s in a bathroom or in the chip aisle at Target. Whether they’ve adopted a new baby, or there’s a high school friend I recently went and saw during Thanksgiving, and his wife had triplets and they lost one of the babies. Just when you think the show is too far-fetched, it’s like, no, people are actually living these stories.”"

Chrissy even shared that the show has brought her closer to her family because she had a family member who dealt with a miscarriage, but they had never talked about it before and now over the holidays they got a chance to do just that with each other.

Don’t miss the rest of Season 2 of This Is Us when it starts airing again on January 2, 2018, on NBC. As Chrissy Metz mentions, Toby and Kate talked at the end of the show about how they do want to try again for another baby, but not until the time is right.
