Why they’d make a good Bruce Wayne: While Blake Jenner already had a role in the DC Universe as Cat Grant’s son in Supergirl, it was minor enough to recast him in a larger role. Jenner already showed off his charm alongside Melissa Benoist (who he was also married to from 2015-2016, so it’s not a huge surprise they had some chemistry on-screen). He could easily pull off the playboy millionaire persona that allows Bruce to go out and keep his secret identity close to his vest.
Why they’d make a good Batman: Jenner fits our parameters pretty perfectly. He’s over six feet tall and looks like he could certainly bulk up for a role if need be. His role in Juvenile displays his ability to work a bit on the dark side, too. In that film, he’s troubled and it’s certainly safe to say that Batman counts as someone who is troubled.
