Milo Ventimiglia talks about the This Is Us story line that touched his heart

The show This Is Us is so full of touching moments and now Milo Ventimiglia is sharing which moment of Season 2 touched his heart the most. 

Today shared that Milo admits to needing a few kleenex now and then when he watches the show just like everyone else does. This show has people in tears almost every week. Of course, he already knows what is going to happen before watching the episodes, but they are still difficult for him.

Milo Ventimiglia shared saying, “Mandy (Moore) and I have a pretty strong tradition of watching the episodes together. We will sit in (creator Dan Fogelman’s) office and watch it together and cry. There is definitely Kleenex in Dan’s office.”

He went on to explain that the storyline in Season 2 that was the hardest on him was when Jack Pearson had to talk to his daughter Kate about his drinking problem.

"“That one probably hurt me the most in the beginning because viewers see the pain that his kids go through and the struggles they go through. I don’t have kids myself, but I know my mom always said the worst thing is seeing your kids in pain. So, I understand it and embody that very much so with Jack.”"

He shared that the producers do check in with the actors to see how they feel about certain things. Milo revealed that they are open to feedback from them, which is great. This could be a large reason that the show is such a success.

Milo also teased that more joy and pain are coming on the rest of Season 2 of This Is Us, but it looks like the fans may finally get that answer about how Jack Pearson died.
