This Is Us fans earn a spot in the Fandom 250 this year

This Is Us fans made it onto the Fandom 250 this year, making them one of the top fanbases in the world.

Each year, FanSided gets an expert editorial panel together to decide which fandoms are the very best in the entire world. This isn’t just exclusive to sports, it’s inclusive of entertainment and other pop culture followings.

Some good souls on that board (perhaps myself and Shea Corrigan) went to bat for This Is Us being a top fandom in the world. The case was made and it was decided that This Is Us is not only a fantastic fandom but one that ranks inside of the Top 100.

It’s the first year that This Is Us is on the Fandom 250. Given how passionate the fanbase is, chances are we’re going going to go up next year. That being said, clocking in at No. 62 among the 250 very best fandoms in the entire world is outstanding.

Here are a few things that This Is Us outranked:

  • Boston Celtics
  • Kendrick Lamar
  • Empire
  • Cleveland Cavaliers
  • Amazon
  • HBO
  • Duke Blue Devils
  • Jay Z

You name it, This Is Us probably beat it in the Fandom 250. Just look at the things that This Is Us beat. Anyone who knows about sports can tell you that the Boston Celtics have one of the most intense fan bases in the world and This Is Us fans finished ahead of them. LeBron James and Kendrick Lamar are powerful sources of fandom but neither were able to beat out our fandom.

That’s not to take anything away from those fandoms. Every fanbase that made it into the Fandom 250 is established as one of the very best in the entire world.
