Mandy Moore’s makeup artist gives details about making her an older Rebecca

Mandy Moore has to look a lot older when she plays Rebecca Pearson in the present. Now her makeup artist is explaining how she does it all. 

Us Weekly shared the details straight from artist Zoe Hay and she shared all about the transformation that she does on Mandy Moore for the hit show This Is Us. She has to make Rebecca look really different for various decades.

It turns out that Zoe Hay went to her Instagram page and shared pictures that show what all Mandy Moore looks like on this show. They even use prosthetics on here at times. Poor Zoe actually broke her hand and had to get some help for a bit, but she is always the one that is the brain behind what Mandy Moore looks like on the show and she does a great job with it.

Mandy Moore is the one who spends the most time in the makeup chair for sure. She has a lot of work to do when they are changing her up. Zoe explained it saying, “My goal was to make subtle transformations making an age progression that gives her the space to have natural movement in her face and allowing her to act.”

She also shared about how she transforms Milo to look like Jack. There is a lot of facial hair involved and he looks great in any decade. It does turn out that the mustache is real most of the time. Jack doesn’t take near as much makeup as Mandy to look the part.
