Cody Nickson, Jessica Graf move from Big Brother to Amazing Race

The 2018 Amazing Race cast will include Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf. Cody and Jessica were popular members of the Big Brother 19 cast. Now, the couple is ready to take their relationship on the road. The new season of The Amazing Race will debut in January on CBS.

A report by CBS relays some quotes from Cody about joining the show. Three words he uses to describe himself are passionate, stubborn, and honest. 

"“I fell in love with Jess on Big Brother and we made an incredible team. I want to compete with her by my side again.”"

Cody and Jessica came up short on BB19

The Big Brother 19 season didn’t end well for Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf. Turning on their alliances too quickly probably cut their summers short in the BB19 house. As a result, Jessica was the final evicted houseguest before the jury house and Cody then became the first member of the BB19 jury.

Despite the early exits during the summer 2017 season, Jessica and Cody maintained a very strong social media following. This could be a big reason why CBS brought them back for the new season of The Amazing Race.

The winter 2018 season of The Amazing Race debuts on January 3. 11 new teams are competing for the $1 million prize and that includes the former Big Brother houseguests. Episodes will air every Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. PT/ET and will also be available on CBS All Access.

Don’t miss US Celebrity Big Brother 

CBS is rolling out its first installment of Celebrity Big Brother this winter as well. The CBB schedule begins on February 7, with a short run for the network. This is a special season of the show to help bridge the gap between summer seasons and it will involve a group of celebrities living inside the Big Brother house.

Rumors existed about Cody and Jessica appearing in the cast, but it seems like they will now be busy with The Amazing Race.
