Celebrity Big Brother USA 2018 cast: Mark Long responds to rumors he is joining CBBUS

Will Mark Long of The Challenge fame join the cast of Celebrity Big Brother USA 2018? “Evel” Dick Donato recently started this rumor on Twitter. And Long’s response has just raised more questions.
Donato originally tweeted on December 24 that he would not be doing his popular Dick at Nite recaps for the upcoming season of The Challenge. Donato blamed Long, who confirmed that he was too busy to take part in the show.

Two days later, Donato tweeted that Long was too busy for the webcast because he would be on Celebrity Big Brother USA 2018.
So I heard that @TheMarkLong is gonna be on #CBBUS

Which is why he can't do a webcast with me for #TheChallenge
But you didn't hear it from me... shhhhh!
Indeed, the new season of The Challenge is set to premiere next week. If past editions are any indication, the season will run for several months. That would coincide will the filming of Celebrity Big Brother USA 2018, which is set to begin in early February.
Long, for his part, tweeted that Donato’s tweet was “#FakeNews.” But he also included a winking emoji, which has us wondering if he was being facetious with his denial.

And we think Long would be a great addition to the Celebrity Big Brother USA 2018 cast. He has plenty of competition experience thanks to his time on various Challenge seasons.
Long is also a huge Big Brother fan and even says as much in his Twitter bio. He also tweeted about the possibility of joining the CBBUS cast when the series was first announced.

This is not the first rumor Donato has started about the Celebrity Big Brother USA 2018 cast. He recently listed several celebrities who randomly followed him on Twitter, including Margaret Cho and Anthony Scaramucci, and wondered if they would be part of CBBUS. Donato also recently wrote that Blac Chyna, Brandy, and Mark McGrath may join the show, while Lance Bass and Sammie Giancola would not.
