Last night on This Is Us, Randall found a poem that William had written before his death, which led him on a chase to try and find the women he wrote it for.

When Randall found this poem, it actually let the viewers get to know William even more. He has so many sides and this poet side is one that we didn’t know just yet. Elite Daily shared what William’s poem “Lady” said:

"My lady, my love, my neighbor./Lady I am straight up fixed on you/just as you sit, fixed straight upon me./Our glue has long been set./Each morning I wake up/and head straight towards you./And each afternoon/we sit together with your children/and watch the world go dark./Always I walk the same steps/I push open the door/and I end up in front of you./Always you, my love/Always you, my lady."

It was great to see Randall Pearson get to know his dad in a better way. William was actually a man who was loved by many. Everyone in the entire building he lived in had amazing things to say about William, but none of them were in a relationship with him even though that is what he was looking for. It turned out that William was in love with the building. He loved the people in it and enjoyed living there along with his cat. Now, Randall has big plans to buy the building that his father loved so much and do great things with it.

Don’t miss new episodes of This Is Us Tuesday nights on NBC. There is still so much more to learn about William and his past.
