The search for Bria continues, as Dawson and Severide follow their individual leads in Chicago Fire.

During the last episode of Chicago Fire, Dawson and Severide were left searching a homeless teen camp. That search ends without finding Bria, leading to the two following any leads they find. Meanwhile, Truck search for the source of a bad smell and Casey has to decide whether to upgrade his office.

Dawson and Severide search for Bria

Most of the focus on Chicago Fire is on finding Bria. Dawson decides to take the day off work to find the young girl and learns that there’s a possible aunt nearby. When getting to the aunt, she learns that the aunt is possibly mentally ill. All the aunt says is that Bria is better off without her dad and apparently the dad drove Bria’s mom to suicide.

That doesn’t match up with what Severide has found. One of the young boys from the homeless camp in the last episode comes to Severide with news. There’s a group of teens Bria was previously hanging out with. One of those teens shares that Bria was going to see her dad, who had been moved to a rehab unit, but she never returned. These teens are now worried.

Cruz manages to pull some strings to get Severide in to see Bria’s dad. Bria definitely came and left a message on her dad’s window to tell him she loved him. The dad is apologetic for everything he’s done, making it clear whoever he used to be isn’t who he is now. But there’s still the problem of a missing Bria.

Otis, Herrmann and Mouch hunt for the source of a smell

There’s a bad smell in the bunk room. Otis, Herrmann and Mouch are left hunting for the source. They try everything, including taking some of the pipes apart to flush the sewer system (and don’t put all of them back in). Things are so distracting for Casey that Boden offers him the captain’s office close to his own.

Brett and Stella (who steps in for Dawson on ambo) make a call to a hot hazmat officer, Zach, who comes in with his tools to find the source of the smell. It turns out the smell was coming from a dead and decaying Mr. Sprinkles. However, most of the jokes are on Stella and Brett arguing over asking Zach out. Brett decides to step aside and give him Stella’s number.

As for Casey, he decides to keep his own office. He doesn’t want to distance himself from the team.

While the boys drink to the short life of Mr. Sprinkles and Stella thanks Brett for her actions, Dawson discusses the information she’s found out about Bria’s mom with Severide and Casey. The mom killed herself when Bria was just six.

However, the conversation is cut short when Dawson gets a phone call from the morgue. A teen has been rolled in and she had Dawson’s number. Things aren’t looking good but fans will have to wait for the next episode of Chicago Fire to find out if it’s Bria.
