Misha Collins tweets support for US figure skating Olympian and Supernatural super fan Bradie Tennell.

Remember when we told you that the U.S. figure skating national champion and newly minted Olympian Bradie Tennell was a major Supernatural fan? Well, turns out the fandom is mutual.

Last week, Misha Collins posted a tweet of support and celebration, showing Collins in skates (!) with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki.

The caption:

"Our own #SPNFamily member, US figure skating champ @bradie_tennell, is heading to the OLYMPICS! To celebrate, @jensenackles, @jarpad, & I are performing #SPNonIce on set! (This is our version of the triple-sow-cow.)"

As we well know, the whole cast of Supernatural is incredibly attuned to the SPN fandom so it’s no surprise that the high profile fan ended up on their radar. We can only dream that #SPNonIce will be a real thing.

Tennell retweeted the post and will be headed to Pyeongchang in February for the Winter Olympics. If she competes for in the team events, she’ll make her first appearances on Sunday Feb. 11 and Monday Feb. 12. If not, she’ll definitely compete in the women’s single competition on Wednesday Feb. 21 and Friday Feb. 23. (Women’s figure skating is the last of the figure skating events.)

Unless there’s a major change to her program, she’ll be skating to Taegukgi by Lee Dong-jun in the short program and Cinderella by Patrick Doyle in the free skate. Her exhibition skate is to Roots, by Garce Davis. It’s no “Carry on My Wayward Son” by Kansas, but with the skill Tennell brings to the ice, there’s hope yet that we’ll see a Supernatural-themed skate at a future Olympics. Stranger things have happened.

And about that #SPNonIce? Well, there’s always her post-medaling career to consider. It may be many years away for the soon-to-be 20-year-old, but there’s no reason to believe the Supernatural fandom won’t be going strong then.
