The Big Brother: Celebrity Edition schedule is ready for the season premiere. The full cast was revealed on Sunday night (January 28). Now it’s just a countdown until CBS airs the season premiere. From there it will be a sprint to the finish, with the winter installment all taking place in fewer than three weeks. It won’t give viewers a lot of time to get to know the 11 celebrities.

Shortened schedule for the celebrities

There are only 13 episodes in the Big Brother: Celebrity Edition schedule. The season premiere is on February 7 and it comes to a close with the season finale on February 25. This was probably done for two reasons. The first reason is that celebrities can get pretty busy. The second reason is that CBS is airing the show to compete with the Winter Olympics at NBC. Plus, the production team doesn’t want to overload the viewers with too much Big Brother.

With Big Brother 20 coming in the summer months, it’s also important to end Celebrity Big Brother before CBS can start advertising the next installment. With 13 episodes, it also means a lot is going to take place each day in the Big Brother house. There is  $250,000 on the line, raising the stakes for the viewers and the participants. Who will be the CBB USA winner this winter?
