In the latest Will & Grace, Grace accidentally dates three generations of men as Will and Karen play matchmaker. Let’s recap with the five best quotes!

Even 12 episodes deep into the revival season of Will & Grace, there might still be some lingering doubters out there. Can the revival capture the essence of the original? Is it just as funny and pointed? Does it really need all of these guest stars to pad the narrative? Well, the sitcom’s grand return from its Olympics-induced hiatus more than settle the remaining uncertainty.

There have been multiple instant-classic episodes of Will & Grace in Season 9 (especially the second episode’s near shower drowning), but few have mixed up the dynamics quite like the latest outing. Sure, we love when Will and Grace pair off and inevitably compete or when Jack and Karen wreak havoc together. But the best episodes always swap the foursome. This week, Will and Karen spy on Karen’s staff while Jack helps Grace through a complicated dating situation. Let’s recap the with the five sickest burns from the latest episode!

1. “I’ve seen you get the mail in nothing but a mud mask and that big t-shirt that says, ‘It was me, I let the dogs out.'”

For perhaps the first time, Grace does something dangerous: She dates a man who lives in her building. Although she believes her relationship with James (guest star Matt Letscher) can outlast the weirdness of proximity, Will pokes fun at the casual inelegance Grace exudes around the building. But before long, Jerry calls and ends things because it’s just too weird.

2. “That’s sexual tension. It’s the same look Lindsey Graham gives John McCain.”

Say what you will about this foursome, but one of the most electric duos within the group is Will and Karen. Now that they work in the same office, all bets and gloves are off. As Will leaves to hit the tennis club, Karen takes him down a peg while watching her new favorite show: The “interactive telenovela” this is her home security cameras. Will and Karen eye a budding sexual tension between her two cooks, and they’re officially hooked.

3. “In the words of the horse-loving beauty Shania Twain, that don’t impress me much.”

Jack takes Grace out for a night on the town to bounce back from her breakup with James, but he’s none too impressed with her history. She claims she’s not a prude because she once had sex in an elevator, but Jack’s a little more impressed when he learns she hooked up with her college professor, Jerry (guest star Barry Bostwick). Still, Jack throws a handful of peanuts at their young waiter, JJ (guest star Andy Favreau), whom she also hooks up with (in the bathroom!).

4. “I haven’t rooted this hard for a gay couple to get together on TV since Frasier and Niles.”

Will and Karen have been sucked into the passionate will-they-or-won’t-they between Karen’s chefs, and even take to turning up the heat and playing mood-setting music in the house to get them together. But the guys speak in a “secret code” (Karen’s phrase for Spanish) that the two can’t decipher.

They begrudgingly call on the Spanish speaking talents of Will’s pseudo-stalker Neil (guest star Dan Buckatinsky) to figure out what’s keeping them apart. Finally, Will inserts himself into the indie telenovela to complete the love match.

5. “I’m the prettiest girl in the world!”

After James, Jerry, and JJ each find their way back to Grace’s apartment, she soon realizes that they are related. Try as she might, Grace keeps these plates spinning in the air so as to keep the three generations of men from finding out she has hooked up with each of them.

Unknowingly, they each vie for her affections without understanding their competition is their father or son. The plates all come crashing to the ground, and Grace admits with one shameful shriek that she’s the “prettiest girl in the world” they have been talking about. Will, Jack, and Karen will never let her live this one down.
