Filling the shoes of Robin Williams, who led the cast of the 1995 classic, was no easy task but with smart writing and a fun new twist in the story being told the team behind Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle were able to bring viewers a fresh spin which captivated millions of moviegoers worldwide.

Perhaps one of the many reasons the film took off and resonated with moviegoers was thanks to the all-star level cast led by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan. The film’s four leads played incredibly well off of one another to deliver a light-hearted, yet adventure-filled comedy the entire family could enjoy together. In fact, the multi-generational appeal of the film is one of the many reasons it’s worth buying as it truly is a film that viewers of all ages can enjoy!

Exciting Bonus Features

One of the most alluring parts of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s latest DVD release is that the release actually comes with a variety of bonus features. While it seems like a no-brainer to include bonus features on all formats of a release, many studios have sparingly added bonus features to DVD releases in hopes of enticing fans to splurge for the Blu-Ray or 4K Ultra HD edition instead.

Snapchat Code: One of the release’s most notable bonus features is the inclusion of a special Snapchat code which can be used to unlock a special augmented reality experience via the Snapchat app. In using the code, fans are transported to the jungle and given the ability to share their adventure with friends via the app.

Additionally, fans can use the special Snapcode on an insert within the DVD’s package to bring the characters from the film into their living room with help from a first-of-its-kind AR experience!
