Chrissy Metz debuts at No. 1 on New York Times Bestsellers with This Is Me

This Is Us star Chrissy Metz released her memoir This Is Me, which shot straight to the top of the New York Times Best Sellers list!
Congratulations are in order for Chrissy Metz! The Emmy-nominated actress and star of This Is Us just added another achievement to her growing list of accomplishments. Last month, Metz released her first memoir, titled This Is Me: Loving the Person You Are Today, and it’s already a smashing success. The personal book debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
If we’re being honest, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Chrissy Metz’s book arrived at the top of the best sellers list, as everything This Is Us touches turns to gold. Still, it’s another win for the inspiring star, whose 2018 is shaping up to be her year — a fact we predicted and declared months ago. There’s no stopping Chrissy Metz now!
Since the release of This Is Me, Metz has been hard at work promoting the memoir on a nationwide book tour, which just wrapped with special guest moderator Chris Sullivan. (On-screen sister-in-law Susan Kelechi Watson also dropped by the Los Angeles stop.) Surely, Sullivan’s appearance was welcomed by the thousands of fans who attended the tour stop and are eager to find out what Season 3 of This Is Us holds for Kate and Toby.
Of course, Metz’s promotional blitz also included pit stops on popular talks shows such as The View, Rachael Ray, and Watch What Happens Live, where she previewed the contents of her book and also spilled details about her special lunch with the one and only Oprah Winfrey. While we can all take away pearls of wisdom from This Is Me, Chrissy walked away with personal life lessons from Oprah. What more could you ask for?
