Similar to last week’s Bob’s Burgers, this week has a focus on our favorite teenager, Tina. It’s time to look at how she’s changed and the impact it had.

Despite being named after Bob, Bob’s Burgers sways towards one character. That character has to be Tina Belcher. Most teenage girls on TV are stereotyped and made a mockery of, but Tina Belcher is the exact opposite. In the past eight seasons, we’ve watched her go from an insecure teenager to a mature, smart and funny young woman.

Of all the characters on the show, Tina has become the biggest fixture in pop culture. Fans have flocked to her honesty, her humor and her heart. A lot of teenagers and adults alike see themselves in Tina and she has become a lot of people’s favorite TV character.

Throughout the seasons, we’ve watched Tina hit many milestones including birthdays, firsts and gaining independence. Unlike Bob and Linda, Tina doesn’t just stay in the restaurant as we’ve seen her hanging out with friends, at school and even, going out on dates.

There will be spoilers from this week’s episode, “Go Tina On the Mountain” and previous Bob’s Burgers episodes.

In every way, she’s a typical teenage girl but somehow completely different. In honor of this week’s episode, “Go Tina On the Mountain,” I’ll be looking at Tina-centric moments and how that moment or episode impacted her.
