CultureFly’s second Supernatural subscription came with everything a fan needs to cosplay or if you’re on-the-go. Check out our review and images of the fan mystery box.

Supernatural fans have been tearing open their latest subscription box from CultureFly filled with fun items that will make any fan of the Winchesters happy to add to their collection.

This is just the second box of CultureFly’s subscription service. It offers four boxes a year – essentially one box a quarter. Each box contains 8 to 10 pieces. Box no. 2 had 10 Supernatural-related items, giving fans a good round up of items from throughout the series’ run.

One of the most popular episodes from the show’s run was “After School Special.” The brothers investigated a haunting at one of their former high schools. Dean posed as a gym teacher wearing a ridiculous outfit with short, tight red shorts, whistle, headband and white polo.

The folks over at CultureFly gave fans everything they need to cosplay as ‘gym teacher Dean’ – minus the red shorts. This is really a fun inclusion, and I’m sure there are fans who got a kick out of it.

For me, however, it’s not something I will get a lot of use from. I don’t cosplay, and the socks aren’t really anything I would wear out of the house. Maybe I can wear it to the gym as a joke, but even then I doubt the outfit would be comfy. But I do love CultureFly sticking to the spirit of the show.

My favorite piece in the box was the Supernatural messenger bag. It is a bit on the small side, but I prefer items like this when heading out for quick errands. I have a bag smaller than this that I usually use, but often times wish it were a bit bigger. This bag is now the perfect size for when I’m on the go.

Another useful item that was included was a drinking glass where the logo changes color when you pour cold liquid into it. Who doesn’t use glasses? A great cup that will become my go-to beverage holder at home. The candle holder is very pretty. I didn’t put it together, but I saw images of it completed online.

The rest of the items in the box are fun to have, but not practical like the bag and the glass. But I am not always looking for practical! I have a massive collection of stuff (trading cards, Funko dolls, etc.) of things that I just look at.

The vinyl Dean figurine, and poster are two great items that help round out the box. The figurine will wind up on my desk at work where everyone knows I have an affinity for the show. The Steve pin will end up in a drawer some place forgotten about until I am searching for a lost pen.

Either way, I think the items are great because it rounds out different eras of the show.

Overall, this was another good box from CultureFly. I would probably give it a 7 out 10 though because I felt too many items were dedicated to the cosplay. Still love it though and can’t wait to get Box No. 3 in a few months.
