Younger season 5, episode 5 preview: Will Kelsey cross the line with her new author?

In the latest episode of Younger, Kelsey takes her relationship with a new author a little too far. Here’s everything you need to know.

Don’t mess with Younger’s Kelsey Peters. Better yet, don’t stand in Kelsey’s way when she wants something. Although Kelsey and Zane fought for the chance to edit the memoir of President Obama’s former speechwriter, it looks as though Kelsey will win much more than Jake’s words. As evident from their instant chemistry, due in part by an exclusive dating app, it was only a matter of time before Kelsey and Jake’s professional relationship went personal. The two cross a line that can’t be uncrossed, but let’s just hope Charles doesn’t find out.

While Kelsey plays with fire, her preferred form of game, Liza dips out of her own world and into her daughter’s. Sure, Liza’s not privy to the ins and outs of social media, but Caitlin’s online activities are cause for concern for Liza. On one hand, Caitlin could be putting herself in danger, or she could be putting her mother’s true identity in danger. Elsewhere, Josh considers another long-term decision that might have something to do with his career and location. Given the temporary nature of his last long-term decision, Younger surely won’t push Josh into haste.

Will Kelsey get in trouble for getting too close with her latest author, or will she and Jake manage to keep their secrets on lock and maintain professionalism? Is Josh shutting down his tattoo parlor and heading out of New York City? Why is Liza worried about her daughter’s online presence, and does it have anything to do with her?
