Jenelle Evans slammed for putting Jace in danger after road rage

Jenelle Evans is being attacked for putting Jace in danger after following the stranger off the road and pulling out a handgun.

Jenelle Evans decided to use the Teen Mom 2 cameras to film the man who had cut her off while driving with her son Jace. She turned off the road when he did and followed him to his house. She yelled at home, saying everything had been filmed. Things escalated when she tried to leave, hitting his mailbox on the way out. He used his truck to corner her in so he could call the cops. That’s when she pulled a firearm out to scare him.

While Jenelle Evans had been proudly bragging about the NRA on a previous episode of Teen Mom 2, she felt she was in her right to pull out the firearm to protect herself even though she had put herself in that situation. On Twitter, people expressed their frustrations over how she could just put Jace in danger like that without thinking about his safety.

One person clearly agreed with David Eason that you simply don’t follow someone off the road and go to their house. You simply call authorities.

Others understood why Jenelle pulled out her gun but didn’t understand why she felt the need to follow the man to his home.

However, the biggest criticism was regarding Jace and Jenelle leaving him alone in the car with the gun. He didn’t touch it, but he could have picked it up and accidentally shot himself.

This scene has many arguing that she’s clearly not capable of protecting her kids because of her decision to carry a gun. While Jace is indeed old enough to understand that he can’t touch the gun, it’s possible he could still do it. Plus, if she leaves Jace in the car alone, she could have done it with Kaiser or David’s kids as well.
