Better Call Saul season 4 is here! The first episode takes us to present time before picking up right where it left off last season, and it’s obvious we’re in for a wild ride. What major events can we expect?

We can always count on Better Call Saul to keep us on the edge of our seats from beginning to end! But can we talk about how many commercials were in this episode? One too many, if you ask me! Missed season 4, episode 1 “Smoke,” or not caught up on the show? Exit now, spoilers ahead…

Chuck is gone, and mourning his loss is only the beginning of Jimmy McGill’s problems. What’s ahead for us this season? Here are four major events that may happen…

Kim dies

This is our biggest fear. We don’t ever want to say goodbye to Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn). But she’s not in Breaking Bad for a reason. Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) loves Kim too much to not even mention her in Breaking Bad. She wasn’t simply forgotten, something terrible obviously happens to Kim. Death is what’s most likely to happen, but it’s not the only possibility! We go over the biggest theories, including Kim going prison, here!

Jimmy morphs into Saul Goodman

Better Call Saul is a prequel. It’s no secret Jimmy will become Saul, the question is — when? The last three seasons have slowly been leading to this moment. Jimmy is itching to get into trouble. He’s just not a rule follower. He’s a good guy, don’t get me wrong, but his anti-hero, borderline villain personality, is about to show. We’re betting it’s season 4 that will finally introduce Saul Goodman, and it will happen after a tragedy. Not Chuck’s death, though that may be the beginning, but perhaps something that happens to Kim.

Less Mike

Here’s a popular Reddit theory (scroll down several comments) I believe (but wouldn’t be disappointed if it doesn’t happen), Jonathan Bank’s screen-time as Mike may begin to decrease. Due to the actor’s age, he may begin to vanish from the show. We already did see a lot less of him in the backhalf of season 3. Mike could have a story that will be spaced out throughout season 4 or just leave by the end of the season, not to be seen until he pops up in Breaking Bad season 2.

Gus kills Nacho

Just like Kim Wexler, there’s a reason Nacho isn’t in Breaking Bad. And even though his death would impact us less than the heart attack Kim is going to give us all, we still love Nacho! Gus is on to him, it’s not looking good for him.

Better Call Saul airs Monday nights only on AMC. Don’t miss it!
