Briana DeJesus’ daughter Nova heads into surgery before birthday

Briana DeJesus reveals that her oldest daughter Nova is headed to surgery before her birthday coming up this weekend.
Briana DeJesus is a single mother to two adorable children and despite questioning whether to keep little Stella when she was pregnant, she trusted her then-boyfriend Luis that he would be around. Needless to say, that didn’t happen. While he still pays for her daycare, he lives in New York and he’s working to support his own lifestyle.
DeJesus recently revealed to Teen Mom 2 fans that he hadn’t even reached out to Stella or herself after Stella was in the hospital for a week after contracting a dangerous infection. Now, Nova – her oldest daughter – is going in for surgery this week.
One can imagine that Briana DeJesus is an emotional mess, as she has to deal with these issues all by herself. After many years of being absent, Devoin is finally starting to step up in regards to Nova, so one can imagine he’s going to be there as she goes in for surgery. As Briana DeJesus revealed on Twitter, Nova has a surgery on Friday and she’s celebrating her birthday on Sunday.

Briana didn’t reveal what kind of surgery her daughter is having but when a fan asked if her daughter was okay, DeJesus revealed she was fine. By all accounts, it sounds like it’s a straightforward procedure that will require minimal recovery time.

Right now, there are rumors that Briana DeJesus may not return to Teen Mom 2 after last season. She claimed that the drama with Kailyn Lowry was too much to deal with considering they didn’t even film the show together. No word on whether she’s filming this new season.
