An animated Harley Quinn show is happening and DC Universe dropped a preview at NYCC 2018!

Harley Quinn is returning to the small screen in her own animated show on DC Universe. At New York Comic Con, DC and Warner Bros. released a first look at the show. It isn’t much, but it’s enough to let people know that the show is happening (and they get in a Deadpool dig).

While she wasn’t in every episode of Batman: The Animated Series, Harley is an interesting enough character to hold her own in a solo series. The first look mostly talks about what’s coming in the show, but we do get a look at Poison Ivy.

The banter between Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn already seems pretty fun and it’ll be interesting to see how that plays out in the actual show. One big thing of note though is that Harley Quinn is voiced by Kaley Cuoco instead of Tara Strong. It’ll take some getting used to, but Cuoco does a decent job.

Check out the first look, below:

If I’m being honest, I’m more excited about the animated shows coming to DC Universe more than anything else right now. Between this and Young Justice: Outsiders, the service will certainly have my money so I can watch both. However, I am hoping that the live-action shows end up being as good of quality as the animated shows appear to be already.
