As a fan of all-things Seth MacFarlane created, The Orville quickly found a place toward the top of my must-see list last fall. From the initial episode, I was hooked and found myself anxiously awaiting the arrival of each new episode – and equally bummed that the debut season consisted of only 12 episodes!
With an extraordinary production level and effects which were second to none, MacFarlane and the creative team behind the series managed to give each episode the feel of a mini-movie – an achievement few series are able to attain. Based on the merit of the episodes and season as a whole alone, The Orville: The Complete First Season is a must-have for any fan of the sci-fi genre. However, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment didn’t play it conservative with this release!
