Is new Chicago Med on tonight, Dec. 13?

It’s meant to be One Chicago night, starting with our doctors and nurses at Med. Will we get to watch them in action in Chicago Med tonight, Dec. 13?

Wednesday nights are usually all about the first responders in Chicago. One Chicago usually kicks off with Chicago Med but is that going to be the case tonight, Dec. 13?

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the series definitely isn’t on tonight. After airing its fall finale last week, the show is taking a break now for the rest of the year. The good news is those of you who fell behind have a chance to catch up and the rest of you who are with me have time to rewatch your favorite episodes.

What’s on instead? NBC has a run of specials at the moment. Ellen’s Game of Games will air its holiday-themed episode tonight, so there are not even any reruns of your favorite medical team yet.

I know it’s disappointing news. There are so many questions after that shocking Chicago Med fall finale last week. My biggest one is whether the Malstead wedding is ever going to happen? Take out the witness protection from the equation, will Manning want to marry someone who has lied to her after all this time?

Then there are the questions about the financial viability of the hospital. Every week, there’s a mention of money problems. The hybrid OR is proving to be a money-drainer and there is very little hope moving forward. This has been going on far too long, so it’s time to get something in order.

When will questions be answered? Chicago Med Season 4 returns in the New Year, on Jan. 9 to be exact. Are you ready to catch the midseason premiere?
