2. Bob finally gets his big break
2018 was not a great year for resolutions. At least, for me predicting them and this one is no different. I predicted that Bob would finally get his big break in Season 8 but he didn’t.
Interestingly enough, Loren Bouchard addressed a similar sentiment on his Twitter and it makes a lot of sense. I only wish I saw it before I posted my resolutions but oh well.
He will. Huge heart. He deserves love, absolutely. And the restaurant is like that too. They deserve success. But I want to remind everyone: we might never get to see that happen. It's a show ABOUT the time before that happens. Staying there. Telling stories from there. https://t.co/8SdEQWtoeG

The point Bouchard made is that Bob’s Burgers is set before Bob get his big break or Teddy finds love or the Belcher kids find themselves. The way Bouchard explained it, it makes perfect sense. Right now, we’re basically getting the story of how Bob’s Burgers started out before it became big. At least, that’s what I’m hoping happens for the Belchers.
It is a little bit sad that we’ll never get to see Bob’s Burgers take over. Maybe we will but for now, it’s all about the struggle. In a lot of ways, that’s why the show is so popular and relatable. We’re all either going through struggles or have gone through them. In the end, we came out different or better than we were before and the same can be said about Bob’s Burgers.
