#4 Raj and Anu start over
After mulling it over with his father and even his friends Raj begins to understand he did rush into the engagement for the wrong reasons. With his new insight, he tries again to speak with Anu who still remains reluctant but opens the door despite her concerns. Raj admits he made mistakes and that she was definitely right about him doing the engagement for misguided reasons.
That said, he also urges that he actually likes her a lot and would rather start over with a date rather than jump to an engagement. He then holds an adorable “please” sign begging for the chance and she accepts. Honestly, this was a solid way to redefine their love story because I was not a fan of the direction. It’s almost like the writers were aware they were doing a disservice to Raj’s character, so they gave the relationship a reboot.
#5 Penny tells Leonard he can give Zack a baby
After the awkward request from Zack, both Penny and Leonard seek counsel on the matter from their friends. Penny realizes it’s a little unfair to be so critical of Leonard when she does not want to give Leonard a child herself. Leonard realizes that it’s awkward for her that he might have a child off somewhere in the world he may never see.
This being said, Penny decides that she is okay with him giving Zack a child because of her unwillingness. And she conveys her acceptance by offering him a Nyquil cup to do the deed in–which of course he does not do. It’s not positively clear if Leonard is going to go through with it, so I’m guessing we’ll find out next week

Final Thoughts
Overall, it was a decent episode with some solid growth between Raj and Anu. Their relationship has always felt forced and seeing them get a restart is exactly what the story needed. Hopefully, we see these two get the romantic subplot they deserve by the time this series closes the door for good. Also, it’ll be interesting to see whether Leonard goes through with the donation of offspring in the coming weeks. I’m hoping it leads to a surprise pregnancy with Penny instead.
