Bob’s Burgers: 5 episodes where Tina deserved better than Jimmy Jr

Every Which Way But Goose is just one in a long line of episodes why Bob’s Burgers should stop trying to make Tina and Jimmy Jr happen.

Even though the show is named after Bob Belcher, Tina Belcher is easily the most beloved character on the show. There’s just something about her dialogue, her uhhh noise and general awkwardness that many can relate to. Another thing many can relate to is her romantic life. For most of Bob’s Burgers, Tina’s had an on again-off again relationship with Jimmy Pesto Jr.

We got our first taste of the two and their possible connection in season 1. Introduced in episode 6, “Sheesh! Cab, Bob?,” the episode is all about Tina having her 13th birthday party and wanting nothing more than to kiss Jimmy Jr. Throughout the episode, we watch as she goes from bratty kid to a smart and appreciative teenager but the climax of the episode comes at the end.

In the end, Tina does get to kiss Jimmy Jr and it’s glorious. It’s everything she wanted and more. Since then, everything has seemingly gone downhill for Tina and Jimmy Jr, at least for Tina. Even though Tina harbors such strong feelings for him, Jimmy Jr is an absolute jerk to her.

In the following 8 seasons, he’s been nothing by trouble for Tina. The only time he’s nice is when he wants something. It’s absolutely infuriating and it’s time for Bob’s Burgers to get a grip and knock it off.
