5 major takeaways from Good Girls Season 2, Episode 2
4. Beth turns to Dean for help
Instead of killing Boomer like Rio ordered, Beth decides to pay him off. He gives her a number and the three Good Girls get their accounts in order. Annie has absolutely no money, though, so she decides to steal a car from Greg and Nancy’s gender reveal party.

Beth is the one that needs to figure things out quickly. She needs to see this car for parts and who better to turn to than Dean? He knows someone who may be able to help but he’s not too happy about it.
Oh, but he does give some advice. Don’t steal the Telsa. They’re like an iPad and can’t be sold for parts. Steal a Honda instead.
But, if paying Boomer off and getting him to run away wasn’t enough, there are other financial problems going on. Beth has to sell the fridge to pay off the more recent mortgage payments and medical bills. If it wasn’t for the house, I’d be seriously considering telling them to go bankrupt!
3. Never trust Boomer!
You just can’t trust Boomer. Did the women really think they could? When they pay him off to run away, he initially decides to but then a visit to see his nanna puts him off. I want to say this is a sweet relationship but it’s Boomer and he’s, well, awful!
So, after taking the money, Boomer sticks around. Mary Pat has no choice but to marry him right now — I get the feeling that this is going to change at some point when she snaps or teams up with the other women — and the Good Girls still have him to deal with.
Boomer even goes a step further to getting protection knowing that he’ll likely have the gang after him. He gets an employee to beat him up and then claims that it’s the gang that’s ruffed him up. Jimmy is going to protect him and that can’t be good!
