Ransomogram

#1 – Marco gets his room back! Star uses her magic to put the addendum back on the castle. It’s exactly as Marco left it with his favorite posters on the wall and Turdina merchandise adorning the bookshelves. Finally, he’s got his home away from home once more.

#2 – Star and Marco return to the Neverzone – or the “abs dimension” as Star calls it. In the alternate dimension, Marco is a much older, muscular, rugged dude who goes on crazy adventures with people like Heckapoo and the newly introduced Brunzetta (who Star is enamored by). He is called back there when he gets a ransomogram. The Neverzonians have taken Nachos (his dragoncycle) hostage because they want him to return the sword he stole. Unknowingly, by taking El Choppo, Marco unleashed a fire demon that has tormented the Neverzonians for thousands of years.

#3 – To make amends for stealing El Choppo, Marco remains behind to help the Neverzonians rebuild their castle after the wreckage caused by the fire demon. It’s a tribute to Marco’s character that he was willing to do whatever he needed to in order to help fix the mess he had caused. He spent years cleaning the castle and teaching underprivileged gnomes to dance before portaling back to Star (in Star’s world, no more than a few seconds had passed).

Lake House Fever

#1 – We get to meet the extended Lucitor family including Tom’s Aunt Exasperella and her boyfriend, Glominous (who I found hilarious) and his weird Uncle Recitor who does nothing but screech at everyone and cheat in the game of Drabble.

#2 – After attempting to bond with Tom’s mother by assisting her in making demonade in the kitchen (it goes badly), Star stumbles upon an old family photo album. Wraithmella has the family come around to look through pictures of baby Tom and old photos of him and Star. Seeing some of other images triggers his mother to begin crying and Star asks Tom about it. He tells her that his mom is afraid of Star hurting him again since he knows she kissed Marco. Because Star didn’t talk to him about it, Tom turned to his mom instead, thus it’s the reason she worries about their relationship now.

#3 – Star saves Tom’s life after he gets swept up in the storm caused by his mother’s wavering emotions. By seeing how much Star genuinely cares about her son, she lightens up substantially and Star decides to stay at the Lucitors a little longer instead of going back to the Diaz’s for dinner.
