Maia and Jordan at Hunter’s Moon

Healed of his silver poisoning, Jordan accompanies Maia to her job at Hunter’s Moon, and aside from being entertained by the Halloween crowd, Jordan is most impressed as he watches Maia’s bartending skills. Finally, the pair have some time to talk (at least where the audience can see them) about what was said while they were trapped at The Jade Wolf, and how they truly feel about one another now that they’ve spent time more together.

They endured a traumatic experience with no one else but each other, and we’ll see how they’ve been affected by the massacre, their new circumstances, and the loss of the pack in Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 18. There are also some exciting proposed changes for the pack, and we can’t wait to see how these changes are implemented over the course of the remaining episodes.

Luke at the Institute

Now that the Praetor bailed Luke out of prison and had his charges cleared, he’s able to return to Manhattan and visits Clary at the Institute. He knows that he owes Clary an apology about how he left things with her at the police station, and he wants to voice his support and love his daughter. We don’t think Luke is aware of just how much of an effect the twinning rune has had on Clary over the past several episodes, but he does witness its power at the Institute in “The Beast Within”.

Luke seems to be in a good place now that the Praetor had sorted out his affairs, but we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, there’s a moment in the original Season 3B trailer with Luke that we’ve yet to see on-screen, and it makes us suspicious of how events have unfolded for him this season.
