11. Katie (last week’s ranking: 6)

We start off the episode with Katie waiting on Lisa during a busy dinner. Mrs. Vanderpump asks how Girls Night is going. Apparently, it was a big hit but it’s died down recently.

Unfortunately, Katie says she doesn’t feel like she wants to be a club promoter and doesn’t feel like she can commit the time to run Girls Night every single week. Lisa is astonished because she fired James in part because Katie said his See You Next Tuesday would be replaced by Girls Night.

Katie tries to say that SUR is doing great without See You Next Tuesday and James isn’t irreplaceable. However, Lisa points out that the staff loved all the extra business and James, you know, actually did the work to promote this event on Tuesdays unlike Katie who didn’t have that same commitment nor did she have someone equally dedicated to take his place.

It’s just the height of her arrogance that she can’t see how her lack of focus and attention to creating a viable alternative to See You Next Tuesday elevates James in Lisa’s eyes. She says he’s not irreplaceable, but if you can’t do it, why should Lisa value your wishes over someone who does bring that dedication and value to her business. I guess James isn’t quite so replaceable huh, Katie?

Later, Katie has a nice little heart-to-heart with Beau where she confides that she thinks Stassi might be self-sabotaging. It’s a nice little genuine moment of encouragement for her friend and it warms my heart just a little bit.
