2. Taylor Hotchkiss is officially back in action.

Claire made her public announcement about Taylor being alive, although she didn’t confess the whole truth. For now the cover story is that Taylor couldn’t take the pressure of BHU and so she Gone Girled herself.

Alison actually believes Claire is sincere. Alison I fear your evil blonde mother radar may be off because there is no way Claire is 100% innocent.

Taylor also tells Alison she’s the only person she trusts and then Alison immediately tells Dylan, Caitlin and Ava about her secretly being on the run from someone who tried to kill her. Not the smartest move. Especially since Caitlin tells Jeremy! Who is still completely suspicious. Remember how he was lurking around the hospital last week?

Mona is skeptical about Taylor since she found (and stole) her camper containing the secret Beacon Guard monitor. But Taylor does eventually confess she has it to Alison in the hopes she can use it to try and find Nolan’s killer. By episode’s end, Taylor is ready to go back to being a Hotchkiss and do whatever it takes to get some answers.

1. Dana Booker was in Mona’s apartment.

Now that the Perfectionists are on the one-track-Dana-mind, they’re attempting to hone in on their number one suspect.

“You think it’s Dana? Two days ago you all were one hundred percent sure Mason killed Nolan.” THANK YOU MONA. Finally some sense. Perhaps these kids need to stop jumping the gun and gather some real facts and evidence before blindly throwing out accusations to whoever is mean to them that day.

But then Mona gets the results back from Taylor’s mini-Beacon Guard scan and it turns out, they might have been right. The gait of the person who broke into her apartment pretending to be Nolan matches Dana Booker. Did Dana leave Mona the freaky A-like cupcakes?

Personally, I think not. Or if she did, she’s not working alone. Dana may be crooked and she may have even been in Mona’s apartment, but I don’t think she’s the mastermind behind Nolan’s death and the person who was trying to kill Taylor.

Odds & ends

  • Feminism in the works of Agatha Christie – I wish I had assignments like that in college.
  • “Okay we have to Google these guys.”
  • Seemed to me there were some sparks flying between Taylor and Alison.
  • “Dana’s a total ‘A’.” Okay the A jokes were cute at first but I’ll be a little annoyed if they seriously start introducing A into the show again.
  • Dylan messes up big time by plagiarizing a recording to submit as his cello solo. Now Dana may potentially know about it since the music starts playing over the intercom in the coffee shop. That’s not foreboding at all! And it looks like a Dylan and Andrew reconciliation is in the works. Too bad Dylan could get kicked out of BHU soon.

A new episode of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists titled, “Hook, Line and Booker”, premieres May 8 at 8/7c on Freeform.
