The fight is on

Pilgrim tells his soldiers to open the gates and let Sunny and his crew in. He’s ready for the fight and he tells Cressida that she doesn’t have to worry about defeat because they will win. She has many great lines tonight and this was one of them: “It is not defeat that I fear, but what happens if we win.” She tells Pilgrim that she had another vision.

One of a dead world with nothing rising from the ashes but misery. She tells him that he is not meant to have the gift. That he can control it in others but he can’t control the darkness within him. He backhands her and tells her that she’ll accept the gift when the war is over, with no argument.

When Sunny and his people show up they only see Pilgrim at first, but it’s an ambush. The fight in the main area of the museum is busy and intense. Back at the chamber MK shows up to stop The Widow, Gaius, and Tilda after they plant the bombs to destroy the chamber. MK tells The Widow that Pilgrim can give her the gift back thinking that he can win her over. She rejects it saying that it leads only to madness and death. MK fights all three alone. Back at the museum Bajie and Kannin are turning off the gift in dark ones as they fight while Moon and Sunny are going toe to toe with them.

During the fight, Cressida is packing to leave as two Black Lotus come to kill her. Eli (The main sleeper kid who MK befriended) comes and saves her but questions what she’s doing. She says she’s been ordered to remove some sacred scrolls and he offers to lead her out.

In the chamber MK has Tilda dead to rights but stops and knocks her out instead. He still cares about her.

Outside by the water, Moon corners Cressida as she’s climbing into a boat. She tells Moon that Pilgrim’s war is no longer her war. She tells him that Lydia died well, that she’s unarmed and that there’s no honor in killing her. Moon, a man whose honor has defined him, says “F*ck honor” in what may have been the line of the night. He goes to kill her but a solider stops him and by the time he fights him off Cressida is already too far away. He vows to find her.
