The Jonas Brothers are headed back to Saturday Night Live after 10 years. Serving as musical guests, what songs should you expect to hear?

It seems impossible to think that 10 years ago the Jonas Brothers performed on Saturday Night Live. Then again, maybe some of you didn’t even know the Jonas Brothers were on. Either way, the band is set to make their triumphant return tonight. With Emma Thompson as host, it’s an exciting way to kick off Mother’s Day weekend.

Fans of the band might be wondering what the trio will perform. Even though we don’t know any exact setlist, we have some guesses. Before we get into that though, it’s important to note what we should be expecting. Usually, the musical guest will be featured in a sketch or two along with performing two songs. Most of the time, it’s two songs but sometimes will feature a third.

Looking back at their performance 10 years ago, the brothers performed two songs from their album, “A Little Bit Longer.” They performed their fifth single from the album, “Tonight” and “Video Girl,” another track from the album. The performances were good but weren’t anything particularly exciting. Regardless, it leaves a lot of wiggle room for their upcoming performance.

Since we have a good idea of what’s coming, it’s time to get into the nitty-gritty or what songs they’ll be performing. Currently, their new album “Happiness Begins” has yet to be released so they might go with a single that’s out now. Choosing between “Cool” and “Sucker” is hard as both are good songs but “Cool” is their more recent release. A case could be made for either, but “Cool” will probably be what they perform.

As for their second song, the band could perform “Sucker.” It gave them their first Billboard #1 and signaled the start of their comeback. If they don’t perform “Sucker,” then there are a few different options they have. The Jonas Brothers could decide to perform an unreleased song from “Happiness Begins,” a special treat for fans. The other option is that they perform one of their old songs and or a medley of them.

Regardless of what they perform, no doubt the fans will love it. With their recent comeback, the Jonas Brothers have managed to reach such a wide audience. Saturday Night Live is just one stop on their tour of TV performances. 10 years later, the band might have a few tricks up their sleeve. You’ll have to watch and see, though.
