5 top takeaways from Good Girls Season 2, Episode 12
Dean and Beth are trying to make it work
Dean and Beth are trying to make their divorce work. Yes, I said divorce. There’s no back peddling on the decision to get a divorce but they’re not at each other’s throats.
After telling the kids about the divorce, there’s a legitimate question. Who is moving out?
That’s not something they’ve discussed yet. Dean – who gets a job and is then immediately fired from it for a ridiculous reason – decides to research options. There’s a way that they can stay in the house with the kids. Whoever isn’t the “parent on duty” so to speak will live in a rented place.
That sounds like a plan. I’m now curious though if they’ve thought about the fact that Dean knows about so much. If divorced, can’t Dean be called to testify against Beth?
Boomer is still alive
I promised I’d get back to Boomer. He is the last on the list because it comes up at the very end.
Mary Pat shares that Boomer never actually died after being run over. He ran away and hasn’t been seen. Annie decides to tell Marion that her grandson is still alive and she’s sure he’s hiding something.
She doesn’t get confirmation until she checks on a payment on her credit card that she says she doesn’t recognize. It’s for some sex toy company for a “flesh” light. Well, we all know what Boomer is like, right?
Annie goes to see Marion again and starts searching her apartment for any sign of Boomer. He’s nowhere to be seen until she walks back in unexpectedly to deliver Marion’s keys after they fall out. Boomer has been hiding in the loft space of the apartment, which explains the need for the flash flesh light.
