Jake Gyllenhaal’s performance as Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home has earned him rave reviews from fans and critics, but this isn’t the first time Jake Gyllenhaal has wowed us with his talent!

Gyllenhaal has been amazingly versatile in his film roles in the last 20 years. Here are his 10 greatest movies of all time. He is an incredibly gifted actor who deserves more praise. Sure, he’s done terrible movies like Prince of Persia or the infamous Bubble Boy, but besides some missteps, Gyllenhaal has had an incredible career in the movies!

The actor is constantly stepping outside his comfort zone to challenge himself with difficult roles. It’s a risky move, but Gyllenhaal unsurprisingly nails almost every character he plays perfectly. And that’s the sign of a truly great actor, one that can handle any type of film, whether it be a big summer blockbuster or a smaller indie film, and just feel like he fits right in no matter what.

Ever since he got his big Hollywood break close to 20 years ago, Gyllenhaal has seen his star continue to rise with some truly spectacular films.

Here’s a look at his 10 greatest movies of all time so far, from The Day After Tomorrow to Prisoners and many other in between. I say so far, because given Gyllenhaal’s talent, we’re sure we’ll be able to add more movies to this list within the next few years.
